We have been house and pet-sitting around the world since 2012. In the USA, we’ve delighted clients in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC and New York, NY. In Australia, we’ve pampered pets from Sydney to the world-famous Gold Coast and in between. In Europe, we’ve exceeded expectations in London, UK and Paris, France plus we even minded a couple of dogs in a 7-story, historic castle in the French Alps.
When it comes to experience, we’ve got you covered. We’ve taken care of some wonderful dogs from miniature poodles to huge Mastifs and Great Danes. We’ve cared for all kinds of cats from a hairless breed to long hair chinchillas. If you think that sounds like a wide variety of pets, we should mention some of the more exotic species we’ve cared for like lizards, chickens, hedgehogs and goats.
We’ve even looked after our share of special needs pets who required special attention as well. We cared for a blind Lab who had his own “seeing-eye-dog.” We’ve tamed slightly-aggressive wild street dogs who were trapped at the US Embassy in Africa by a State Department employee. We’ve injected insulin into diabetic cats. We’ve comforted all sorts of anxious animals – including a really sweet little Shetland Sheepdog who may have been on the Autism Spectrum. We’ve accurately dispensed meds and hid them in treats of all kinds. We’ve even rendered successful first aid more than once to dogs who had run-ins with highly-toxic and dangerous cane toads. You can rest assured that your pets will be in very good hands with us.
We used to own and operate our own successful AirBNB business so we understand very well how important it is to have respectful, responsible and tidy people who will care for your house as their own. We are non-smokers who both work from home offices so your pets will have extra attention throughout the day. We are flexible with dates and can work from anywhere as long as the wifi is good.
Even though we are blessed to work from home, we have both enjoyed successful, professional careers. Dave is a relationship coach, author and podcast host from the USA who works with clients all over the world. Katrina is a retired lawyer and Police Officer from Australia.
